In January 2007, RHB Bank Berhad Singapore is the first full bank in Singapore to be accorded the S-Class status amongst the 73 S-Class organizations in Singapore. Launched in 2003 the S-Class Award is one of the most prestigious awards conferred on organisations demonstrating a commendable level of service excellence in Singapore. This means putting in place a system and infrastructure to achieve quality service culture in delivering excellent service for its customer.
RHB Bank Berhad Singapore was conferred the S-Class Award after rigorous on-site evaluation by the National Assessors appointed by SPRING Singapore on all aspects of service leadership, service agility, customer experience, customer delight and other service quality improvement initiatives.
To fulfill these high standards, RHB Bank Berhad Singapore has rigorously identified the critical success factors through various feedback mechanisms put in place at all the seven bank branches in Singapore.
RHB Bank Berhad Singapore’s S-Class Award was attributed to the RHB Customer Experience and customer service strategy based on the “5 senses” approach. This includes the sense of sight, smell, sound, taste and touch.
• All branches are refurbished with pleasant décor, filled with aromatherapy and soothing
pipe-in music.

When there are more than three customers in the queue, chocolates are offered to customers.
• Complimentary drinks dispenser machines at branches dispense a wide variety of drinks
and beverages to suit the customers’ palates.
• On a rainy day, customers are pleasantly surprised, when RHB staff hands a disposable
raincoat for use.
